When I started this blog, I created 2 blogs by mistake... this one is one of them. It gave me kind of prep for some smartass article, the algorithm was hoping I would write. Here is the beginning...
"If you are struggling with depression, know that you are not alone. Many individuals face similar battles every day, and there is a community of support waiting to help you through. It's crucial to reach out for help, whether it's from a therapist, a support group, or a trusted friend or family member. You don't have to face this challenge by yourself. In addition to seeking professional help, there are also a variety of coping strategies that can help you find moments of peace and calm amidst the storm of depression. Engaging in activities that bring you joy and relaxation, such as meditation, yoga, or spending time in nature, can help lift your spirits and quiet your mind. Building a routine that includes regular exercise, healthy eating, and plenty of rest can also have a positive impact on your mental health. Finding ways to express yourself creatively can also be a powerful tool in coping with depression. Whether it's writing in a journal, painting, playing music, or any other form of creative expression, finding an outlet for your emotions can help you process your feelings and find a sense of release. Remember that healing from depression is a journey, and it's okay to have setbacks along the way. Be gentle with yourself, practice self-compassion, and celebrate small victories as you move forward on your path to recovery. And for friends and family members of those struggling with depression, offering your support and understanding can make a world of difference in their healing process. While navigating the storm of depression may feel overwhelming at times, finding moments of calm and hope is possible. By reaching out for help, engaging in coping strategies, and surrounding yourself with support, you can weather the storm and emerge stronger on the other side."
Sure... This might work for some people... and it might not work for some other people... I'm the second type... Trust me.... I tried the traditional way... except of meds... I have a bad experience with meds.
It was all too much for me... and I don't talk about my feelings... so, when I started to talk to R about my feelings, especially the negative ones, like grief for Wayne.... it was a HUGE STEP for me... He started to shut me up... I was getting more and more confused... When he left... I fell into deep depressions... mixed with panic attacks... If you ever experienced these, you know what I'm talking about... If you didn't, I wish you never will... It's living hell!!!

Imagine living in the place of your dreams, everything you've ever wanted is around you... and you cannot see it... you cannot feel it... you see only grey, you feel only sadness and emptiness.. Things you used to love, don't even make you smile... Activities you've always wanted to do, you just cannot push yourself to do... you don't have the strength to live, never mind to be happy...
I moved to this place to stay... to call it a home... and now, for over a year, I'm struggling with just going outside...
I work on my routines... Today's routine was very clear and was supposed to keep me busy. Here is my today's To-Do list:
wake up 5.30-6.00am
morning routine: work out, Pilates, meditation, coffee
morning journaling 30 min
morning bike and boulder
2 hour deep work - this blog
2 hour deep work - painting big canvas (my first big canvas)
wax snowboard
bake a banana bread + buy ingredients for the cake first
retype my book 30 min
eve routine - Pilates and meditation
eve reading
laundry
wash my hair
So far, I'm doing ok with the list. I still need to finish writing this and type my book and evening routine... sounds, like I have it all figured out today... Yesterday was a different day... I didn't manage to do anything except my late afternoon run and evening painting... I wasted the whole day... not sure on what...
So, my first 2 tips are:
1) SET A MORNING ROUTINE!
2) WRITE A TO-DO LIST FOR THE DAY AHEAD!
